Welcome to Casa Luna!

Over the last thirty years—as our family moved from Los Angeles to Denver to Chapel Hill—the one consistent place in our lives has been Santa Fe and this home.

We love Santa Fe—the dramatic landscape, historic character, sunny climate, hiking trails, museums, galleries, shops and, of course, the incredible food! As a writer, this old adobe home, built in 1920, has been a source of inspiration and renewal for me over the years. Entering the private, enclosed garden feels like an escape from everyday routines, a chance to absorb some of the imaginative spirit of Santa Fe and fill the creative well.

The house is located in the historic Railyard District, walking distance to the lively Farmers and Artisan Markets, the Rail Runner train depot with regular trips to downtown Albuquerque and elsewhere, Railyard Park, the new Vladem Contemporary art museum, and many shops, cafes and restaurants, including Tomasita’s, a local favorite. And it’s a quick drive to the Santa Fe Plaza, Canyon Road galleries, Museum Hill and the Botanical Garden plus skiing and loads of hiking trails in the surrounding mountains.

It’s the perfect place for a writers’ retreat, a long weekend getaway, or a gathering of friends and family. You can find a full description of Casa Luna and more photos at Two Casitas, our property management company. You can also read reviews on the Airbnb and VRBO listings but, for the best rates, book directly through the Two Casitas website.

We hope you love it!
